Backups Included
It is critical for you to have backups. We provide, included with your account, a complete backup of your VPS environment. This will occur automatically unless requested. The backup environment is as secure as the main VPS Hosting environment and the data is transmitted over an SSL encrypted connection. The following limits apply to the backups included with your account:
Restoring your Virtual Environment will be limited to ONCE every 4 months for free. A fee of $99 will apply for any additional restores.
Individual Custom Firewall
Every VPS Hosting account comes preloaded with APF. APF is a well known and respected software firewall that utilizes the built in Linux routing system (iptables). The firewall will be configured to prevent access to all ports but ones necessary for servicing the site. Certain services, like SSH, are blocked by default to help prevent common attacks.
